History

The Valley Forge CPCU Society Chapter was founded in 1983 as one of the five chapters located in southeastern Pennsylvania serving Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties.  Recently it’s territory has expanded to include Berks and Lehigh counties.  During its history over the last thirty years it has provided educational and networking opportunities for its members.  It has a history of Good Works in both the Valley Forge and Greater Philadelphia areas.

Over the years the chapter has remained centered around the town of Malvern, PA, home of The Institutes.  Chapter events are held throughout the Valley Forge area in order to give members located in all areas of the chapter access.  For several years the chapter went by the name Greater Valley Forge.  In 2013, in accordance with The CPCU Society’s bylaws, the chapter was incorporated as The Valley Forge CPCU Society Chapter.

The chapter holds its annual meeting of the corporation in December at which time a slate of officers is elected to lead the chapter in the following year.
